I was thinking there must be a timeframe for the former owner since I had a 10 day time frame to respond to the letter myself.

Welcome @Sean R Higgins, I worked as a PM for 17 years and was able to fire my boss forever and have REI be my day time job full time.  

I find this gives me the most applications to choose from and have my pick of tenants.When I do open houses I guide all prospective tenants to complete the free application online by a set day/time - I don't touch their money till I have approved them through both steps and they have signed a lease.  

I have lots of day time availability now, but I still end up showing things on nights and weekends for the most part.

Thanks - I figured there would have to be some bend in the rules.You have my word though, theres no ill intent or monetizing going on. my daytime job is software so i figured id mesh together what i know and what im learning.Im no search expert by any means but in my work life one of my goals this year is to get a handle on searching & relevancy.
