A dangerous line of thinking.I don't have the right answer, and I think there are a lot of complicated variables to consider - not the least of which are the likelihood of the insurance company going bankrupt and of politicians pouring money on "victims" who don't have insurance.I keep thinking about whether to buy it for my home, but I still haven't.

You are right to say that there are some really cheap houses in the US but you may also find some articles written by Brandon Turner himself on the dangers and pitfalls of buying these very cheap properties.

This is why “do it yourself” is so dangerous.  

It's not nearly as dangerous as people think.To my knowledge, there is no federal or local law regarding this.
