Hi BiggerPockets community,I’m new to real estate investing and currently running a remote operation to help connect investors with distressed homeowners and foreclosed properties across various markets.

I am currently an Asset Manager for Multifamily Deals as my W-2 job and looking to buying my first deal in College Station/Bryan Area.Anyone I can connect with to pick their brain on different investing strategies? 

I don't think I would be interested in renting a boat or RV....I would have it too long for that to make sense.Though I own several properties, I currently have no primary residence...  

And of course, if your actual cash value is less than the current mortgage(s) on the property, all of the cash value payment will go to the lenders. 

As I'm sure you're well aware, the small multifamily space in metro ATL is competitive despite current interest rates. 

I currently live in chanhassen but own rentals and have a few flips going in the rochester area.

Interest income is interest income, unless you decided to roll some of the current cash into a self directed IRA at which point your interest income would be deferred for a later time and allow your funds to grow tax free.

We are currently building many investment Single Family Homes on independent lots that focus on maximizing rent.

Ask to speak with some of their current owners and current/former tenants.

Don't pay the current owner (higher purchase price) for the work he/she didn't do.
