BBQ Nat Gas hoses have quick connects.....like a air compressor.

I live in Richardson, TX and had an HVAC person who literally lives 4 streets away from me, charge $800 to replace the compressor (which was under warranty, so he swapped it out at the dealers warehouse).

A typical service on AC units is cleaning the coils, throwing the High/Low gauges on it to check pressure/compressor performance, and putting a multimeter on the capacitor. 

.)- No HVAC/HEAT - units/compressors taken by previous owners.- Full cosmetic rehab including flooring- Roof Replacement- Septic Backup- Small Kitchen Fire (Appears to just be stove and hood)What options to do have to buy this home?

What happens if the AC compressor goes out and costs you $3k? 

I usually use Goodman gas units with 2ton compressor and that's 7500.  

I had a new system installed and several HVAC contractors told me that it was standard practice for them to do the install but wait until the unit was leased and then come out to install the compressor.

It will require a generator if the power is off, an air compressor, an adaptor to go from air fittings to female hose threads.  

I've had to put on a new roof (2013), put in a new air conditioning compressor (2014), replaced carpet with 100% tile (2016) and window coverings with shutters (2016).
