Investment Info:Small multi-family (2-4 units) other investment. 17 luxury duplex development located off of Galm Road in the vibrant growing North West San Antonio.

I recently added a half bathroom to existing footage in a unit that is valued over $1k/ft that the comps showed the half bathroom added ~$50k of value.- not sure of your home market but i assume you are choosing ohio for its lower cost.  

If you make the purchase prices much closer, then the waterfront unit should do better.You are going to have to run the numbers.

If multi-family is this 100 studios in a 50,000 SF building or 30 3 bedroom unit in the same square footage.

In 15 years of management and 20 years of investing, I've never had a break-in on a vacant or occupied unit.

My next step is to open a company in the United States, most likely in the state of Nevada.

You've done a great job with keeping your debt low so I have no concerns about your level of discipline to use/reuse a line of credit.All the best!

I have a tenant in one of my units who has filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Give her 30 days notice now, keep her security deposit, and send her a additional bill for damages to the unit in lieu of taking her to court for the damages.
