Hi Guys,So i've been looking into several areas of Chicago and there is something that i cant really understand.I've encountered properties just like this one:1048 W Garfield Blvd,Chicago, IL 60609many properties in the Englewood and Back in the Yards areas...When i analyze them i see that there are "waves" in prices going up and down when the same building can be sold for 30k and then for 250 within each 5 years or so...I also see pretty high rentals there ($1100/m +) ...

Personally I have been standing on the beach watching the waves for along time now and I am planning to swim out before 2019 arrives. 2/3 of the way through Long-Distance RE Investing and it is clear to me that it can be done.

I am not a lawyer, but I believe you are in the clear to send him a new check, non certified, as long as you keep the original, unopened and returned check that shows it was sent back as undeliverable. if he ever makes waves surrounding the sec deposit, you can then show the judge that you sent the original by certified mail within the legal timeframe. in addition, save the written correspondence showing he refused to accept a certified letter.

I am not sure if I should ask the credit union if they will allow me to rent it out and wave the primary residency, or would my only option being to refinance. 

It doesn't mean there aren't exceptions, but the big wave of summer bookings won't come in until late closer to AprilWe also noticed this a bit at our Galveston STR; though not as defined.
