You can use zillow for this or yor agent.You want to go for Max cash flow which means you have to figure out its current rents per door and if you can raise those based on current condition or if will need updates/repairs.

So many things wrong with all this.First don't pay for this.

My wife and I live in Chicago and vacation in San Diego every year.  We get a condo rental in Oceanside typically, and stay for 2 weeks. I'm considering purchasing a condo or a small SFH in the Oceanside/Carlsbad area...

Any help would be appreciated before I pay attorney fees on this one. 

There is also a mix of snowbirds and part-timers from southern states who consider this home.
