If you don't already have boots-on-the-ground and a trusted network, it's going to be tougher to do.

i also help with the set up, hosting and finding cleaners  I make it a one stop shop and the process makes it seamless and a sure thing with making money and keeping costs down.  

But, it's very commutable, and a lot of people working in Reno (especially South Reno) actually live in Carson City because it's cheaper. 

With 20 years experience managing my sfr and as a property manager for a broker and a bank, this switch into ABNB has been a learning experience.  

Acquiring clients - You need to spend money and a lot of it typically.

And a SUSTAINABLE approach to rental property ownership. 

So one tenant pays their 50% in RentRedi and the other pays 50% in RentRedi and as long as it equals 100% at the end of the month, everything is good.

Avoid common pitfalls like skipping due diligence, underestimating repairs, and overleveraging having reserves and a strong team is key.Good luck!
