Definitely an interesting bill for Hawaii where education is not funded by property taxes.As a quick side note, Hawaii teachers are not paid enough.  

My favorite term is servant-leadership - and I try to follow it and be like my favorite teacher... who lived a little more that 2000 years ago :)Going forward, I'm interested in multifamily and business syndications, mobile home parks, funds, notes, tax liens, and if it is a really good deal I'll pick up a buy and hold rental property. 

I know that doing is potentially the best teacher, but for now I am going to learn as much as I can before I fully commit. 

(If these number sound ludicris, they're not, I legitimately know a teacher who has these exact numbers).

What about people like myself, I am a teacher and wanting to get out of teaching, and want to get in to single and multi real-estate but don't have much savings nor experience and credit is ok.

Then, how to make the numbers work on my teacher salary.
