Hes from NY and kept pressing on the issue that a house like the one he was selling was worth X amount in NY and i told him its a completely different market and theres so many other circumstances bringing the value of his property down, but because hes a contractor i guess he felt entitled to whatever amount he asked for.

As far as the details, I assumed you think in a manner similar to myself and I'd be hard pressed to give a contractor that kind of money if I felt an inclinations they too were not attentive to details.

She can usually light up a room and talk to anyone when she walks in.While she is gone I am taking off the interior door knobs and adding French style so she can just press down instead of twist with her hand as the arthritis makes it hard.

Sure, people can be snippy about the extreme bad press (some well founded, much NOT) about the likes of Detroit, but I believe there HAS to be a better return available from leveraging out that $300k than just $28k, (and just as safely, if not more so), somewhere in the country!

It's nice to have a plan but you need to realise the hurdles you will face, finding the homes, finding a seller that is willing to finance, finding renters, maintaining the homes.You will be very hard pressed to actually find all the individuals necessary to complete one deal let alone multiple deals.
