You are asking a law firm with staffing and other overhead to bow to your consumer mindset.

It is compounded by the home values being low (smaller depreciation) and the rents being high- and they tax on revenue not profit.

Go ahead and bow out of this thread, I'm pretty confident once we run the numbers your net is coming less than 40% of your claim. 

I think college is a big waste of time and money, they don't teach anything about the real world, like writing checks, paying bills, making sure you're out of debt, how to be rich by SIMPLY just compounding, and most importantly how to worry about taxes.

With lots of focused hard work and compounded massive action, there is no reason one can't succeed in RE.  

Also on the back side some of the rafters are bowed and additional support maybe needed.

Consider taking $200,000 earning 6% in the stock market and compound that in Excel over 35 years.

Hey @Brett Bickett - way to start thinking about this stuff early - Real Estate is all about consistant action and compounding interest, and the earlier you start the more time your investments have to compound.
