I see no harm in interviewing other architects or even interior designers unless you are looking to modify the structure, then stay with an architect.

Surely you would agree that a trained veteran of the military had more ability to cause you physical harm than an average citizen, but you don't get to effect someone's livelyhood for a perceived potential to cause harassment.

But you have a substance argument if you can document that the 2nd was used only as the down payment for that property.If you've got a year it would be better to pay off the 2nd by putting a 2nd actually on the property you'll be selling.
