Hi All, I will putting this property up as a vacation rental once it closes - so if any of you are going to be heading to Costa Rica soon you should totally stay at my place ;)Financing: The property was financed in a few ways though if I do this again I will take a cleaner approach.

I've already set up my own checklist for my cleaners to complete.

The acrylic cannot take abrasive cleaners (will tenants know that?)

I set up interviews for cleaners and then left town and let the internet work magic.

This is a pilot project between us and the cleaning service.As to your previous question about detailed house rules, we do have detailed clauses about care of the property (e.g. do not use abrasive cleaners on acrylic tubs).

When starting up a new listing we interview 3 different cleaners and handymen.

Now tell me which is cleaner, nicer and has a better potential for a higher return when you go to sell or refinance.
