We could definitely use some more modern and interesting buildings down here in the UC!

However,  Iḿ inclined to believe that comparing an ugly, low performing unit can have a significant price point difference compared to a more modernized high performing unit.

My current home is a completely modernized home but was originally built in the 1930s.

We are in process of building an Airbnb (Den Modern Cabin in Adirondack mountains) in her hometown in upstate NY where we already own 15 acres. 

No reason a person can t build new with modern construction techniques like ICF construction and walk out basements at a price of less than $150/ sq ft.
