Having pets long term makes your hvac stink so you have to clean the interior coil at least (might even have to change the ducts).  

So this is not just drilling some new 2" Tapcon screws into the concrete blocks, last one I had done they had to remove everything to the concrete blocks themselves, then epoxy in metal fins etc...all I am saying it's involved. 

If the hookups are done with metal braided hoses the chance for a leak at that point  is very unlikely.If you use a Washing Machine Pan hooked up to a drain under the the WD, even if the machine leaks or over fills, the water will not be a problem and not flood the unit. 

Home Depot have short  black or white metal fence sections that can be used as handrails.  

Keep in mind, it is high pollen season in northern VA....but this inspector told him the ducts are dirty, pointing out wood shavings in the base of the unit...apparently from initial construction...which doesn't make sense, as I personally cleaned/vacuumed out the coils, etc.His e-mail isn't asking for payment, but it is definitely a passive way of asking.  

My car has a valet mode where I can lock my trunk and glovebox so if someone smashes a window they can't get into the trunk without a key or physically cutting into the metal.

I plan on using metal washers rather than the plastic ones they come with it.
