However, the reason I am starting this post is to ask a little more specific question related to my situation.I live in the NYC metro area, and as everyone knows, Amazon announced opening headquarters in Queens NY area as well as Arlington County VA area.

I picked up 3 bed frames (1 full, 1 queen, and 1 twin), 3 mattresses, nightstands, dining table & 4 chairs, mirror, pyrex dishes, secretary cabinet, and a few other knick knacks for $235.What really ate into my budget was things like comforters, bed sheets, lamps, coffee maker, pillows, rugs, etc. — I went to IKEA & Target for those and that came to about $800.

If they are crazy drama queens, don't bother.  

The room has a queen bed, large closet (by NYC standards), two windows, and I will install a lock on the door.  

@Elizabeth Goff I lived at Silverado for 10 years and was there this week matter of fact my mom still lives there on the West side of town.. 

The oven-cleaning fiasco she has now been reliably shown to have pulled -- you would never have had that kind of conversation with the fire chief otherwise -- exposes her silly, drama queen behavior clearly.

@Elizabeth Wilson most definitely  will take @Federico Gutierrez advice on visiting markets first in which i plan to invest before jumping into  something without proper DD.

@Elizabeth Wilson  @Roland Paicely It is my understanding that the lender will allow me to put a home under contract, and if I decided that I did not want to flip it or could not come up with the downpayment and closing costs, I could wholesale it to them (I think they have contractors/project managers that will complete the flip for them not entirely sure).
