I hate those events you go to and the speaker they have is someone that flipped two houses and call themselves "Guru's".

They just recently nailed former speaker of the house for "structuring" hush money payments

We've aimed at filling in the gaps through our education models.The other model of real estate education is through the REIA groups, who create more connection, but once again bring in speakers with their 1k-2k products that will supposedly revolutionize your real estate investing business.  

It was a good first meeting for me, it was free, no hard selling, and the speaker (Roddy Jr.) was very informative.

The reason I say that is as I listen to my audiobooks about rehabbing, I also listen to motivational speakers.

The speaker in that particular meet-up has flipped houses after either rehabbing/enhancing and in some cases re building the entire house.

I don't go to them but I was a featured speaker and it was a class group I do know the guys who run it and they are first class and very knowledgbel and they don't sell stuff.. it does cost a few scheckles but from what I could see well worth it.

I know that Equity Trust and others have Bational Convention s .Remember, Pay for Education 1st Or You Pay for it Later, But you do pay for it.My wife and I attended our NWREIA mtg and listened to several speakers over ~ 6 months we attended mtg and seminars before selecting the company.
