RE investing allows me to live the life I want to live and not have to lie awake at night wondering what will happen if I get canned at work.

That should be a wake-up call for all new-comers and those who are not on here as much as they should be.

Getting served is a wake up call to get your legal assistance in order.  

There are several good reasons for first thing in the morning ... not only does it set the stage for the rest of your day, but also when you first wake up in the morning your conscious mind is not yet fully awake.

If you are considering your RE endeavors to be a business you will most likely need to borrow money to reach any size (scale).If OTOH you just want to have a small personal portfolio, say for retirement, then you might be more comfortable growing as your equity grows and you accumulate cash to invest.Have heard it suggested that if it keeps you awake at night it is too much leverage.

When you are laying awake at night are you excited about your flip/REI? 

One last thing  that I would like to point out, not just for Chris C, but as a "wake-up call" for all you MALE investors out there---dark wood- stained cabinets are NOT what most woman want these days, LOL!

One last point for those that have never driven in or driven a tesla.. if you live in a major metro area and do a bumper to bumper commute each way to work.. the auto pilot is just sheer genius.. you pop that on.. and sit back and relax.. car does the rest.. you do have a nag light so you do have to touch the steering wheel every little bit to make sure your still awake.. and you should stay vigilant like all auto pilots they can do a wonky thing now and again.. but to be able to pop that on.. the car comes to a complete stop if traffic does will sit there then start to move with traffic.. talk about a stress reliever.. and far safer than driving yourself.When I go from Vegas to Portland we set autopilot at 78 to 82.. speed limit out in Idaho is 75 to 80.. and its just drives U there.. :)well one more last point..  

This Coronavirus should be a wake up call for everyone that is overleverged with loans.
