I’m waiting on a contractor to come install an egress anyways, so the extra month it’s taking me to do minor repairs and paint  hasnt affected the schedule yet, but it’s definitely an important lesson.

I also believe part of my “firing” was due to the fact that on the phone with her she mentioned how the lease renewal fee paid to her was less than what it should have been due to entry error by the person who entered the contract.I also received an invoice for $2700 for painting that was done TO ANOTHER HOUSE THATS NOT MINE!

I'm under no pressure to do or buy anything so watching the CRE space play out from the sidelines works just fine for me.If that's your definition of a clown, it's time for me to go paint my face!

I have a duplex where the plumbing was getting backed up.Had a plumber go out there and put a camera in the lines and turns out there are roots growing into the plumbing from a nearby tree.The quote to rip out and replace the plumbing was a staggering number.My thought is to cut down the tree to stop the growing and then eventually put the liner in the plumbing.Any experience with this?

I am concerned about it being done improperly, prettied up with paint, which many people do with even house flipping as I did this for a number of years, and then a short time later after everything is done and everyone exits, it all comes apart and you are left fixing it.
