Purely an unsecured promissory note.

Enjoying my coffee from my Asheville made East Fork mug this morning.  

I called the CEO of the prop management company but he didn't want to tell me the reasons, just stated that they have high ethical standards.This person that got let go was really fast on answers and I enjoyed working with him, reason why I was confident this management company was a good one.

So in that time I should have around $25-30k in pure profit saved up in rents.Once I have finished the rehab and stabilized the property I plan to either sell or refinance within the year.

Investors base their purchases on potential, but appraisers base their numbers purely on formulas and comps.

In this instance, I would enjoy the dispute and clearly will not be backing down.  

Be sure to not invest purely for that tax incentives.

I dont enjoy that it makes them sign up for a rent redi account etc. but I am not sure what other options to try.

Because of this, I'm exploring what it would look like to begin investing in vacation rental real estate as a way to:1 - Save on taxes by taking depreciation2 - Hold long-term appreciating assets3 - Have properties where we enjoy vacationing that we can stay at when we go to do maintenance (probably 2 areas).What resources would you recommend for someone just starting out who has these specific goals?
