I’m looking for guidance on progressing my real estate investment journey and would appreciate any advice from experienced investors.

If you come across as selfish and ignore those on your team, you shouldn't expect to make any progress in this industry.An agent isn't going to send you amazing 'deals' just because you ask them to. 

However, we can see that the increase in listing inventory may have caused prices to soften as the summer progressed.

Give yourself grace and recognize your progress so far. 

Not enough people realize that, just take that first step bc otherwise you'll never progress and your story symbolizes just that!

Overall, going with an independent insurance agent will mean they will shop for the best price available… whereas if you called a singular insurer… say Progressive or whomever….

I am making progress, but not at the speed that I would like.

I would 100% price that out before making a move anywhere there.I think Lake Conroe and Lake Livingston are two places to check out as things progress in the area.
