I can tell you for absolute fact that that is untrue - we´ve experienced some dreadful reviews, and have left a few of our own, and barring inappropriate language nothing has been censored.

I would assume that most of those complaints were dealing with things like providing an inappropriate appraisal.

Contacting the owner directly on those properties is inappropriate and would leave the perception that you don't know/understand the real estate business.
