Appraisal fees should go to the appraiser, not to the lender.Legitimate real estate lenders always use neutral title, escrow, and closing attorneys, as appropriate for your region.

Basically, refund any and all down payments, interetest charges, processing fees, late fees, etc.2) I beleive Dodd-Frank only applies to owner-occupied properties. - Hence why all the DSR loans we've seen have a required document the borrower signs that states the lender will start foreclosure proceeedings if the borrower ever occupies the property.Please correct me if I'm wrong or clarify anything I missed.

Had a quick question.I purchased the property for $500K about 10 years agoI'm selling the property for $575K with the Fire DamageI received an insurance check of $380K for the fire damage.After Paying off the Mortgage + Escrow + Realtor Fee's, I'll be left with about $150K.My question is will I get taxed on this $150K?
