(In other words, is he contemplating breaking the lease, or has he already done it?)

Can someone still obtain a realtor's license in Texas  with having a  misdemeanor domestic assault charge on the record and the offense  occurred  almost 15 years ago ?

@William JenkinsDoesn't sound like you would use financing for the contemplated investment of retirements, but if you did it would need to be non-recourse (either via a Solo 401k or SDIRA) and if done via an IRA subject to Unrelated  Debt Finance Income tax.

I think for you it will need to be a little more contemplative than "do I like to use a hammer and answer tenant calls" kind of thing. 

I've been contemplating and just have been trying to see if it's a smart move or not, so please if anyone has any advice for me I would greatly appreciate it.
