He's now planning on purchasing a suite (like Black Eyed Peas) but the return might not be as great the last time we looked at numbers.He obviously enjoys owning since he went and purchased another one years later, and is now looking into a third unit.I'll give you some rough numbers on the smaller unit.

Drain tile (which is basically a black pipe with holes in it) should be installed around the outside of the foundation and go in under the basement floor to the sump.

This is not an exact picture, but as you see in the picture the outlet (pressure side) of the system is white PVC (plastic) pipe and not black ABS (plastic) pipe.It appears that the existing tank you have is plastic and not too large.

My logic tells me it would be the lower property owner who would be responsible for having retaining wall, but black letter law, or case law may be different- I don't know???
