I used to live in the Bay Area (now based in Asia)  and still own a home in Campbell.

We had the Industrial Revolution as result of WWII, but those factories transitioned from bombs too ovens, toasters, bikes, you name it because again Europe and Asia were in majority part, lying in ruins.
