I was in Williamson county today Bruce.  8 properties and 0 went up for auction as everyone paid prior to auction time. 

@Elijah Williamson  Our first step is to look at the zoning to determine what is allowed.

I am thinking to buy and hold and resell or subdivide and sell in the future.I have been looking at around Austin suburbs (Williamson, Travis, Hay and Bell).- George Town, Liberty Hill and Leander are expensive and out of my budget so I took them off from my list.- The towns that are bit affordable and I am considering are Taylor, Granger, Bartlet, Florence, Lampass, Bell county (around Temple area..), Kyle, Manor and Elgin. 

If you go further south in Williamson county they are the hardest to deal with in all of America.
