@Maya TorresHey MayaHate to say this but you're both losers in going this route (you and the sellers) if you pursue legal remedy here.My advice would be to learn from it, don't pay retail contractor prices for their work, and get ready to roll up your sleeves, be resourceful, and fix the issue!

I am painting the outside of my home in a few months anyway so I figured I may as well paint the bottom part of the building's concrete foundation with a water sealant masonry paint. 

We have moved and feel we are owed the money from April to May as we should be paying rent for a until we can’t fully use without it affecting our health.
