Rich, I read a really interesting article on Greece the other day - how basically most of them pay a tiny percentage of the taxes they are supposed to pay, and how the govt only investigates those who pay, not those who don't.

Sunny Burns I think most of the posts hear talk about coin-ops being break-even but (hopefully) resulting in an ability to raise rents a tiny bit for laundry being in the complex.

While $30 does not seem like a lot of money it is a loss of $360 by the end of 12 months and if you think it doesn't matter when you make a few more mistakes throughout the year the losses start to add up like $360, then $720, $1080, etc. and when you stretch small losses over a period of 5, 10, 20 and 30 years you lose enough money to where you could purchase a nice Mercedes every 10 or 15 years, or re-invest that money and make even more money.Howard Hughes said something like, "if you pay attention to the tiny details the important things will automatically take care of their self".

i do too, and would likely evenmoreso if/when i were to go blind or something. but, dogs of any type, will still be dogs. dogs that can and do bark, bite, and last but not least, damage. and in my experience already so far i've seen lots of huge german sheperds and the like, confined to tiny inner city apartments in high rise buildings and the nearby parks littered with bits and bits of what each 'curb' day in and day out missed, which ads up to alot of stinky poop!
