Starbucks is not franchised by the way, and is product based, but I get your point.When you buy a service franchise you’re buying the name, the logo, all the systems, the collaborative advertising, collaborative problem solving (an oft overlooked and significant benefit), etc.

However, if you're strictly looking for water efficiency, their is a prioritized order to tackle things - I'm probably stating the obvious.Toilets use the most water  - there are numerous technologies to help out with toilets.I wouldn't want to see you address dishwashers until you added one of the many inexpensive water saving devices to your toilets.
