We’re about to take over management of a new home on 524 Catalina Rd Big Bear so we need to interview cleaners, electricians, plumbers, handyman etc.

The mixed Use depending was it a dry cleaner as an example would trigger a need.  

This will give a cleaner "Forest" look to the property. 

You need a good team of contractors/ handymen, cleaners, landscapers.

Doing this allowed me to maintain a good relationship with my cleaner and she also became my eyes and ears to see how the property was being taken care of. 

The only thing to keep in mind is finding a reliable cleaner(make sure you have good communication/backup plans), and a good handyman.understand your market and do the switch in a slow period, that way you can get experience and not lose a lot trying to figure it out.I have learnt a great deal from bigger pockets, and lots of helpful people here. when in doubt ask and be specific to get the quickest answer :)

Mine can set door codes, message (or call) guests, schedule cleaners, adjust the thermostat, monitor my cameras, & call a plumber just as easily as a local PM can, for 1% of the costI wrote much more about leveraging offshore assistants in this post here.

If someone held a gun to my head and forced me to invest in a short term rental in California, I'd pick something along the edges of Yosemite like in Arnold, CA but then you run into issues with local cleaner options.

@Junee Gam  were you able to find workers such as cleaner and handyman in this market?

Since it's their property, they could, for example, theoretically not allow my Airbnb guests to use their roads to make it to the dome, not allow cleaners to clean the dome, etc.
