I've always had the general feeling that Barstow is not a great area (drugs, crime, poor schools). 

The political party currently in power in Mexico didn't even exist back then.We however have to recognize that there have been some expropriations in Mexico in more recent times (like in any country), aside from those that are drug-related and that you mentioned in a previous post.

The turn key sent us a clean bill of health on them, but when we googled them the first thing that came up was an arrest for drug possession.  

Gangs, graffiti, drugs and adult book stores would be pretty common.

The Atlanta (etc) PM situation reminds me of the US medical system where Dr's (per the AMA) can only give you toxic pills and not solve the underlying problem, which means you're in an endless cycle of going to multiple Drs getting more and more prescriptions.

This seems to be a good deal if Madison Heights is not a war zone or drug dealing gangs territory.I heard in Detroit there are plenty of houses that are vacant and abandoned.
