I've personally talked to tenants to see if they could borrow money from family or friends to make rent so I didn't have to evict, so I can relate somewhat.

A pool in Alaska doesn't add much, if any value, unless it is indoors and usable year round.Another consideration is the market trends.  

Great evidence to bring to the judge.My rental agreement says that pets cannot relieve themselves indoors, yours may not.  

Don't fight it, figure out how to deal with your biggest pet peeves (indoor furniture outdoors, for me) and let the rest slide.

It just seems that a lot of these people are exposed to good deals but they don't take the initiative that the people reading these posts do to get out there and make real estate work for themselves.

It was a sure money maker based on the numbers.

The total increase was going to happen by the law makers and then we forced change. 

Simply because while the deal may be between us there are now additional parties that influence the decision since there is a family behind the decision maker that might not have say in the deal but will influence the end goal for both of us.

You can make really good money working limited hours.
