There is always going to be a "but...." you have to decide if you have the fortitude to take the risk- in my opinion, REI is much less risky than investing in stocks; you have a tangible asset that you control and can influence the value of, at least to a certain extent.

Although the info you show has the policy limits, other factors would influence whether or not the coverage was adequate:1. on the policy, what are the covered perils (is it basic, fire coverage, or is it Named Perils, or the best (Special form)2. what is the rebuilding cost of the structure vs the $660,000 Building limit3.

On the other hand, Class C and D properties can provide immediate cash flow, but they come with their own set of challenges and may not appreciate as quickly.One additional point to consider is that your local market conditions can influence these property classes.
