If B stops paying on the original note, A's credit will get trashed and C could have the property taken away.B would indeed no longer have any equitable interest in the property after selling to C, but would still have the mortgage or DOT as security.If C wanted more control, he could insist on paying the original note directly and only giving B the difference.
