There is almost always a clause in the contract where you agree the PM isn't liable for stuff like this.You really weren't harmed either.

They go by the license laws of that state and whether the public at large is harmed by violations of a brokerage, agent, etc.Ethics is different from disclosure license laws which in many states say on all contracts and contact you need to disclose you are licensed.
