The book is simple but gold and a quick read

I have read "The Millionaire Next Door" and it is an amazing book. I

I was hoping to find some concrete information about steps that I can take towards acquiring assets and investments, but after getting half way through the book, I wonder if the next 200 pages is going to be a waste of my time. 

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius (Gregory Hays Translation) - This book is full of amazing insight into a man who literally ruled the world but never lost himself or what was important to him.

I've never tried it, but one of the strategies that Brandon discusses in his book is to use hard money to acquire the property and cover at least some of the repairs, and then refi into a conventional mortgage after a six month seasoning period.

I have a question on what real estate investing book I should buy.
