You start looking at the classifieds to see what you can get for the same rent you're paying, and gauging how high the rents might go, and can you afford to move, etc.In other words, these guys are already spring-loaded to move, if necessary.Now imagine you get a letter from the new owner saying you need to re-apply for the rental you've been living in problem-free for however long.
