I won't cash flow for a few years but should break even which is expected for Utah right now.

If you build a deck/patio now you have 1 more thing to maintain and add to your expenses.When you are ready to sell in the future you can reveal ut the necessity for a patio if you feel it will help you sell faster and for a higher dollar amount.

So maybe Utah is better.

Also looking in Utah for similar reasons.

But folks who are moving here who need temporary housing tend to move in the summer when kids are out of school, and there is quite a lot of activity around UT in August. - That we'd love being in the hospitality industry as much as we do.

So I recently purchased a "home" in Illinois, for me and my family with the VA loan, and I am renting it out until I finish my service which is 1 1/2 years in Salt Lake City, UT.
