I think that there are two camps trying to make this change.The PC camp is trying to make the change because the word is allegedly gendered (even though landlady is available, landnonbinary and landgenderqueer are not yet popularized).

Make sure you are adequately insured and prepared for this.....Always better to use a GC, but I am probably biased :-) You will not save much if anything, so why get yourself involved in something you know nothing about....?

Hey Ekin, I would look at more affordable markets that have heavy cash flow numbers.I'm biased to Detroit and have 12-doors there even though I live in California.Our typical single-family house deal is in the $70-$90k range and will rent for $1,100-$1,400/mo depending on location and bedroom count.Detroit is an awesome market if you take the time to learn it.
