looking at a duplex that seems very nice. the price is a little high, but before we even get there i noticed that the kitchen cabinets in one of the units is missing.3 loan guys said "you can't get a loan if the kitchen is not operational".i asked if they can classify it as a "SFR" and they said "no".any ideas how to get around this?

There is a plan to extend 476 - but who knows if it will bring any real results.And so much of the town is classified as historic district - but the property values are so low that doing (expensive) historic restoration makes no sense.
