One in particular I'm looking at is one contiguous building with a shared lobby and probably around 20 or so "rooms" they rent for about 130-150$ / night depending on the season.My question is: Does it make any sense to use our construction expertise to go in and do a complete remodel of this building - perhaps knocking down walls to make more "suites" for Air-BNB, putting in kitchens, modern amenities, nice TV / internet, hot tubs, etc? 

Location...I suspect partly due to proximity to highest paying jobs, film/tv studios, Westside, easier commutes etc...My buddy rents his 3/2 there for $3500.

I use $20/ft as a rule of thumb for everything (including linen, TV's, even forks and knives).

This property is located on almost 10 acres, has 32 RV and Tent spaces, 14 houses that sleep 120 people, boat slip which hold 12 boats that are rented out, a pool for guests, a rec room for guests with seating, tv, pool tables, etc., a small general store and much more.  

I used to install cable TV and have crawled through literally thousands of attics and crawl spaces and have just picked up the knowledge with time.

In fact, so cute that it did a stand in for an Alaskan town in the TV series Northern Exposure.

Sure Evolve will do the bookings for a good price, sure your partner can take care of maintenance issues, answer questions on how to work the TV remote while he/she is around and not on vacation themselves.

I looked more into it and came across folks like Chris Chico and Flipping Mastery TV.

Now I just have internet with a Roku TV so guests can sign into their accounts.
