I have some low end rentals and I have the walls and trim all painted with the same shade and brand of semi gloss white. 

Keep this trim.

The only negative about the house I used to live in is no master bath per se which is a turnoff for some people - but everything in the house has been updated - whereas most in the price range I'll sell for are dated or just have the basics done to them (by updated - new siding, windows, high end oak trim, new opened up kitchen and not the cheap crap, new driveway - gigantic patio - gas line for grill outside, sprinkler system etc etc.)Anyways best of luck

For the exterior, it was painting the front doors black or red, the body beige and black or white trim.

My interior finishes (flooring, trim, cabinets, bath fixture, etc were pretty much the same costs for me).

Attach a trim edge to the outter sides, nice. 

You pay for foundation work to be done too.And keep in mind a pre fab structure trimmed out at $45 a sf level is propbably going to be low end.

I also was thinking just to leave those alone and focus on details that stand out; floors, paint, trim, kitchen, bathrooms etc.
