IMO, the general public suffers from short term memory.

Yes, hindsight being 20/20, the LL should have left the gas account open so you wouldn't be suffering for a couple weeks waiting for the gas company. 

We use all LED or CFL lights.We've just started installing stainless steel panels in kitchen areas that might suffer abuse.
