I rarely disagree with the tax guy, but it doesn't sound right to me.Your Series LLC is one company with different cells just as a department of company would, a store has sporting goods, men's clothes, women's clothes, household and appliances, etc.

Is it demographics (new households) or new business formation?

Household formation / housing supply has been a big driver of rents the last few years nationally.

I have had similar conversations in my own household, with friends, and clients. 

A blue collar job like a foreman will always find work in any economy, so I wouldn't worry that it is a single income household.

I just worry with our household income outside of the property being so low, if we fell on hard times we would not be able to pay the mortgage.

We require that the household income exceeds 3x the monthly rent. 3) Do you know your credit score?

Hi - I've been interested in buying real estate to buy and hold in Bend, OR, as my household has been priced out of Santa Cruz.

My guess is it was historically a shared driveway, and each household veered off and parked in their separate back yards.
