It is cheaper, in general, to sub out like you say but if you have no experience sequencing the work and talking to subs you may be scarring them off.

What are your thoughts about talking face to face with the previous owner? 

Stop hanging out with your deadbeat buddies who spend all day drinking, talking sports, and otherwise wasting away.

I will provide useful information along the way, but getting subscribers is the number one goal, and to that end, most of the talking heads are going to make investing sound FAR more sexy and lucrative than it really is.  

No talking to will fix a person raised to live like a pig.  

You need to be able to talk with strangers over the phone or in person to build rapport. 

Its no different than a tiktok video on financial literacy gets not views but if its a person shaking their you know what or talking about spitting on something they become instantly famous...

. :) It doesn't talk or teach about making millions as an agent but helps you understand what a career typically looks like and things to consider before jumping in.

Road access- talk with the city or county engineer or road department.
