Nothing is worse than a Mentor putting energy, time, and effort into a mentee who is just not reciprocating those things.i've mentored folks in my field for a long time and there are never a shortage of well intentioned individuals who just didn't invest as much as I did so I had to sever a few relationships.

It's my understanding that Colorado has reciprocity with Texas and I would just have to take the Colorado exam.Has anyone done this before?

Some folks may reciprocate and ask you the same question, and that is the opportunity to share your passion for real estate investing and what you are doing.It's a fine line, as you don't want to seem like you are pitching because that is a huge turnoff.
