Are you collecting properties or collecting money?

Maybe I'm no longer a low risk bond investor, maybe I'm parking my money in $VOO instead, CRE REITs, or perhaps higher risk higher return bonds. 

Once completed, the goal is to get them rented and then pull money out of each house to build a high performance spec.

You should consider private money!
