Please suggest Dallas lenders to finance investment properties
13 November 2024 | 8 replies
Quote from @Albert Aitov: Hello everyone,I'm looking to start investing in real estate in DFW metroplex, but I'm having a hard time finding lenders that can finance my purchase price + renovation costs, I called to about 15 different banks (and all of them have different issues).Initially I was trying to find a lender that can finance 100% of the deal if it falls within 70% of projected ARV (I follow a few real estate investors that suggest to find such lenders, it is usually small local banks), but I couldn't find any lender like that in DFW.

Eventually, you'll find a problem that is not that difficult to solve (but kept other buyers away or forced the property to fall out of contract a time or two). You also have to know what a deal looks like.

However, you would have to rework your current contract to be subject to SS approval (which the buyer may or may not be into),or sell to another party, and if you are getting financing for the new house, that will likely fall apart as well.
