But you can't use your IRA money as that's not your's that's the custodians custodial account (your only the beneficiary), but you can lend your self-directed IRA money out with a bank account that matches the name of the company etc.Interestingly, this appears to be one of the most bipartisan bills passed.

The problem with asbestos is there is no escape, it is not like a plumbing problem when there is a leak, someone else can fix it. there is a ton of paperwork needed to be done, and the disposal chain of custody report plus air quality test result is your only ticket to get away with liability.

If you're just looking to park cash for a couple years, rather than immediately reinvest it in real estate, and have low risk tolerance, maxing out gov't I bonds (the I is for inflation) may be a no brainer right now.Generic article below, but TLDR is you can buy up to $10k per SSN per year, inclusive of custodial accounts for any kids you have.

@Edwin Epperson, while a Solo 401k does NOT have a custodial requirement, many Solo 401k plans have a custodian anyway.
